Cheney's Heart

here was the perfect metaphor for what the Republican party is really
all about...A President, George Bush, who has NO BRAIN, and the Veep
(who some say was the real person running the show) **** Cheney, who
has NO HEART. Jay Leno made a "Wizard of Oz" joke about the idea,
with Cheney's brains and Bush's heart, the handicapped pair would
actually be able to function on the job, by complimenting each other.
I wonder where the brainless one went, we're not hearing much from
him. You need a brain to talk. And he's not talking. But if his
mouth did open, he'd be sticking his foot in it (miss him yet?).
Someone must have told him to shut up, otherwise America will be
reminded once again, what is wrong with the Republican party (the no
brainer thing). Apparently, no such advise was given to **** Cheney,
because last year, Cheney was, talking and talking and talking. This
guy may not have a heart, but he does have a brain, sort of. He even
got his daughter to advocate for him, making the Talking Heads
circuit, on all the radio and television shows that he and she could
muster, just to push this insane idea that torture is a great foreign
policy goal. And all those anti-American Liberals, such as Obama (and
the rest of the world) who are opposed to torture, well, they are anti-
American. That's the extent of Republican logic. No one could shut
that pair up. They can yack whatever they want, convert the faithful
to their evil cause. No restrictions. We call it free speech.
No one could shut him up, after all, he has a brain of his own, then
something happened. Last February, lightning suddenly struck the
earth, from high above. Just to remind us all that he really does
have a heart, Cheney got another heart attack, the fifth in his life
time. And then there was silence.
What perplexed the medical team is this, how to get his heart beating,
when he does not actually have one.
Oh, and here's some major hypocracy that only a Republican mindset can
explain, Cheney heart is being paid for, using that same old
government sponsored health plan, that no one else is allowed to
have. The wonders of modern technology. Let's all remember him in
our prayers, as he recuperates from a surgical implant called the
"ventricular assist", it uses a D size battery that powers a
mechanical pump, pushing blood continuously thru, rather than the
normal pulsating beat that everyone else has. And, according to the
article linked below, he will also likely be wearing a bracelet to
alert any future emergency medical personnel who might come to his
assist that they should WATCH OUT, just because he has no pulse, it
does not mean he is dead.
I've got a question, who will take up the "torture-is-a-great-cause"
mantle, now that Cheney (and his lovely daughter) have decided to shut
their mouths for good?
