Trimspa and Birth Defects
It is not known if Trimspa diet pills will cause birth defects or not. It is stated on many sites selling any weight loss pill that it is not advisable to take weight loss pills while pregnant or nursing. This is also a precaution listed on the labels of many of the diet pills. The all natural products have not had enough, if any, scientific studies done to know what the effects might be on a fetus or on a baby if it is nursing and the mother takes the pills. There are many possible side effects from taking the Trimspa diet pill and there are some secret ingredients that is not listed on the labels. It is not possible to know if the pills are safe for anyone to use and especially pregnant or nursing women. It is best to wait until the baby is no longer nursing to begin your diet if this is your situation. You do not want to jeopardize the health of your baby. People with certain medical problems and/or taking certain medications can not safely take the Trimspa diet pill. You should discuss the use of the pill with your doctor before you try it. If you are already taking it and experience any side effects you should stop taking it and contact your doctor if the side effects are serious or do not go away after a short time. Side effects from the Trimspa diet pills that have been reported so far are migraines, pain in chest, knees, elbows, wrists, lower abdomen, trouble breathing, trouble swallowing, swelling of the throat or esophagus which may cause choking if the pill is not taken with an adequate amount of water (recommended amount is at least 8 ounces), heart palpitations, vomiting, sensitivity to caffeine, allergic reaction to shellfish, jitters, increased blood glucose, chromium toxicity, insomnia, anxiety, and restlessness. There may be other side effects not listed here. Many people have stopped taking the pills because of the side effects they experienced. For some the side effects lasted for days after they stopped taking the pills.
The Trimspa company was having financial difficulty back in 2003 before they hired Anna Nicole Smith as their spokesperson. The sales of the company were down and after Anna became their spokesperson their sales increased for about two years then began falling off again. The sales have dropped for the past three years and they future of the company looks dim at this time. There are lawsuits against the company for false advertising. Many people have tried the Trimspa diet pills and claim they did not help them at all.
