Trimspa EF

Does Trimspa EF (ephedra free) weight loss pills actually work to help one lose weight? There seems to be a debate about it. Some claim that they have had a substantial weight loss from using Trimspa and others claim it hasn’t helped them but very little if at all. Some say they lost a few pounds then after they stopped using the pills they gained the weight right back plus some. There are some law suits pending because of the false claims made by the company that the product worked. Better than it actually did. The Trimspa company was about to hit rock bottom in 2004 and then Anna Nicole Smith made the testimonial that she lost 69 pounds in about 8 months from using the Trimspa weight loss pill. Trimspa then hired her as their spokeperson and the marketing ads and commercials of Anna helped the company’s sales soar for a while. Sales climbed for a while until the complaints about false claims the company and Anna were making and law suits began to show up. This hurt the company and continues to hurt the company. Their sales have been dropping for the last three years and now with the untimely death of Anna Nicole on February 8, 2007, is it believed by some that this may be the end of the Trimspa company. With the lawsuits and her death, the company may not survive this time.

The Trimspa weight loss product does not contain ephedra any more because the drug was banned in the United States. Now the company has added Hoodia Gordonii to their formula. Hoodia Gordonii is an herb which is found in the Kalahari Desert in South Africa where the SANS tribesmen have used it for over 25,000 years as a food supplement and to quench their thirst while on hunting trips into the desert where food was scarce. The stem of the Hoodia plant, when chewed or eaten, would allow them to go for days without food or water. Scientists studied the Hoodia plant for years and discovered the property in the plant which caused the suppressing of the appetite and named it P57. There are many fake Hoodia products being sold as the real thing and will do nothing to help you lose weight. These scams are only after your money so beware of them. Any company who uses Hoodia Gordonii in their products should be able to prove to you that they are using the real Hoodia Gordonii by producing proof of authenticity certificates and licenses. In all of the scientific studies done, the Hoodia helped every subject (both human and rats) lose weight. Some even reported signs of increased energy. Whether there is enough Hoodia Gordonii in Trimspa to actually help or not is yet to be determined.
