The music group “Rehab” has a popular song about a man talking to a bartender. The song is called “Sittin’ at a Bar”. The song can be found online as well as all of the lyrics to it. The he song is included on an album called “Southern Discomfort” and the album was released as Rehab’s debut album in 2000. The song “It Don’t matter” was a spin off from the album and it sold 140 thousand units. Other songs on their first album are Crazy People, Drinkin’ Problem, Hey Fred, Kick My A, More Like You, Ms. Jones, Scarecrow, and Thinkin’ Again.

The Rehab music group consists of Danny Boone Alexander (vocalist and MC), Mike Hartnett (guitarist), Foz (guitarist), Hano leathers (bass), and Chris Hood (drums). The group sings a combination of rock and rap to create their own style. They are based in Atlanta, Georgia and they have now released their latest album “Graffiti the World”. The songs are a combination of the efforts of the entire group. Each of them have kicked in their share of words, feelings, and experiences in order to give the people a different type of new outlook and a more positive and inspiring feeling about the music. They are definitely their own people doing their own thing and they are getting through to a vast amount of people with their words. Many people can relate to their experiences and they have a real way of getting the message out there. There are some very foul language used in part of some songs and it makes it seem real to more people. It is not the type of songs that you would want your kids to listen to .The music is very good and if we could separate the music from the lyrics, some people could enjoy it that way also.

The group has included famous singers such Cee-Lo, Goodie Mob, and Cody Chestnutt in their first album “Southern Discomfort”. The latest album Rehab has released is called “Graffiti the World” and the group hopes to deliver a message as to how to get from one point in your life to the next area of your life or to stop there if you have reached your goals. Danny (the lead singer of the band) says he knows they can not do it alone so they have included producers/mixers such as Billy Hume, and Phil Tan. Billy Hume has worked with the Ying Yang Twins, David Banner, and Bone Crusher. Phil Tan has worked with the Neptunes, Snoop, and Mariah Carey. The group wants to reach the world with their music and they hope they can make a difference for some.
