Phentermine Reductil The Phentermine prescription drug and Reductil weight loss products are very much alike in that they both have the potential of serious side effects. Many of them are the same. These weight loss pills require a prescription to get them and they are meant for obese people who need to loose a substantial amount of weight to prevent serious health issues brought on by the excess weight. Many people should not use these products and your doctor can help you decide if it is safe for you to use. People should not use these weight loss products if they are just looking to lose a few pounds and are not obese. You should not use them if you are under eighteen years of age, have heart problems, high blood pressure, glaucoma, agitation, diabetes, epilepsy, anxiety disorder, hyperthyroidism, atherosclerosis, allergy to other sympathomimetic amines, liver or kidney problems, pregnant or nursing, history of drug or alcohol abuse, if you have ever had anorexia or bulimia, problems with prostrate, phaeochromocytoma (growths on adrenal glands), tourette syndrome, or are taking certain medications. You should discuss the use of either of these drug with your doctor because there is a good chance it is not suited for you. There are some very good alternative weight loss pills you can take that are much safer to use. The herbal form of Phentermine is a very good alternative because it is made from all natural herbs and no drugs. It is not habit forming, has no known side effects, needs no prescription or doctors visits. You do not have to be obese to be able to take this weight loss pill. Another good alternative is Hoodia Gordonii. It too is made from an all natural herb and has helped many people lose weight safely. The Phentermine drug should only be used for no longer than about twelve weeks and has to be stopped gradually to prevent withdrawal symptoms. The possible side effects from the Phentermine drug are allergic reactions (such as hives, closing of the throat, trouble breathing, swelling of the lips, tongue or face), irregular heartbeat, very high blood pressure, hallucinations, confusion, unusual behavior, headaches, dizziness, tremors, nervousness, restlessness, anxiety, swelling of the legs or ankles, insomnia, diarrhea, constipation, dry mouth, bad taste in mouth, impotence, or change in sex drive. The Reductil prescription drug should only be used for about a year but if you do not lose any weight after three months use of it, or if you gain weight, stop using it and try something else. Possible side effects from the Reductil are loss of appetite, constipation, dry mouth, rapid heartbeat, palpitations, increased blood pressure, hot flushes, sweating, bad taste in mouth, sick feeling, making piles worse, kidney problems, raised levels of enzyme in liver, light headed, pins and needles, swelling of ankles, purple rash on legs, bruising, seizures, and blurred vision, and anxiety. There may be other side effects from either of these products that are not yet reported. If you use either of them and experience any side effects, stop using it and contact your doctor.
