Department of Health
There is a Department of health in every state in the US and also a Federal Department of Health to lead the way. In some states it is a combination of Department of Health and Social Services. This Department offers health, food stamps, and more to some families and individuals who have children in the home. The health department offers help with addiction recovery, birth and death certificates, environmental health, food stamps, health care services for the uninsured, health regulation, HIV/AIDS, immunizations, Family planning, nutrition, internships, primary care & prevention, professional licensing, special programs, and STD control.
The Department of Health are there in case of outbreaks of certain diseases or illnesses that might be contagious. They are in control of this and have to be ready to act in case of emergencies. They offer medical help to disabled people who are getting SSI but for those who are disabled and are denied disability, they can not get any help. They might be able to get some food stamps but they cannot get any medical help so they are left out in the cold when it comes to getting medical help. Some people cannot afford health insurance and if they have health issues they may not be insured either so they have to do without and suffer. They can not afford to see a doctor or buy the medication they need. There are some definite holes in the Health system and it probably will not be changed any time soon. There are other countries that give free health coverage to their residents and America is supposed to be one of the richest countries in the world but the have the worst health care system. If other countries can do it , the United States should be able to do it and they could if they would stop wasting the taxpayers money. There have been some very interesting reports about where some of the money is being wasted. There are reports on the news nearly every week about millions that is being wasted on some stupid thing that the country does not need. Plus the President has visited more countries during his term in office than any other President. He is wasting our money but he sure is having a good time traveling around the world. Since Albania loves him so much, they should keep him over there. He is not trying to better things here in the U. S. He is making things better for himself. There definitely needs to be some changes to the health system in this country but it is not going to be done by this president.
